Felicia fell in love with the practice of yoga feeling she had finally "come home" in 2000. She has been sharing this passion by teaching Hatha Yoga classes leading workshops, facilitating woman’s group and giving spiritual talks on Yoga and Buddhist philosophy. She is currently a nationally certified teacher YA500hour level certification level for Advanced Yoga Studies with JJ Gormley-Etchells of Surya Chandra School of Healing. She has over 700 hours of studies on and off the mat. She has studied with many teachers including JJ Gormley, Laura Tyree, Mary Pafford, Swami Jnaneshvara Bharati, Rodney Yee, Doug Keller, Kali Ray, The Dalai Lama, Lama Ngawang Tsultrim, Diane Fuller, Amy Likins, Sarah Gibson, Baxter Bell and Monica Bommarito.
With over 8 years of experience and extensive training in the physical and spiritual aspects of Yoga. Felicia offers the chance to learn about Yoga for life on and off the mat. Her classes are rich in philosophy, grounded in the ancient texts of the Yoga Sutras and offer an opportunity for growth and expansion on all levels: body, mind and Spirit. She has the ability to work with all levels of students, challenging them each in their own unique way.

Yoga is an ancient practice, a science of working with the body, mind and spirit. For many the belief is that Yoga is just the time on the mat, doing postures (asanas),breath work (pranayama) and hopefully relaxation. But with that definition so much is lost. Yoga is an ancient tradition, compiled and given to the world by the Sage Patanjali. The Yoga Sutras and Patanjali are the source of wisdom and an explanation of the Whole of the Yoga Science. In the Yoga Sutras,Yoga is defined as an Eight (8) Limb Path to self realization,the Astanga Yoga path.
At Evolve, we aspire to teach the students not only the postures (asana) but offer the opportunity to come to know the depths of Yoga and integrate those aspects into our daily lives. The foundation principles lie in the Astanga Yoga path.
